TOPIC: ERC allowing building on our Greenbelt ?

The councillors and the planning department should hang their heads in shame. The development contravenes adopted planning policy and fails to meet the criteria for Supplementary Planning Guidance.
The councillors were pathetic and did little or no investigation into the objections raised by residents. Had they done so, they could have easily forced the planning officials into contradicting themselves and their misleading Report of Handling.
What a joke!
This leaves the whole planning process and time and money spent on development plans as completely worthless and meaningless.
Where will the kids play now? Where will they all be educated? What's to stop them building on all green belt? NOTHING!

Only a few weeks into the new school term, soz, council term and they are at it again.

Not doing what the public want but exactly what the council want.

Interesting to note how the Evening Times blithely ignored the fact that Councillors opposed this development and slapped collective responsibility on every member of the Planning Committee.
