We have reported previously on increased levels of ASB in the area of Overlee House which is owned by ERC and used to house homeless people.
Residents and business owners in the area have been complaining for some time now of increased levels of ASB caused by residents of Overlee.
Residents looked to the N & S CC for assistance by attending a community council meeting.
As a consequence the councillors, police and community councillors became aware of the extent of the problem, as did ERC housing section.
We understand that there was a meeting held at Giffnock Police Office last night and all relevant persons were invited to attend and the police laid out their plans to deal with the problems.
The residents, business owners, community councillors and Cllrs Robertson and McCaskill who were in attendance were satisfied with the proposals put down by the police.
