Are we still on the sherry?

Let's be fair here, the whole lot of them are useless.

If we staged a special game of ERC Mastermind with any of the following specialist subjects:

Stampergate
St Ninian's
Robslee
Eastwood High
St Calderwood Lodge / Mearns Castle

Gave a contestant half a day to prepare, then invited on a Cllr to take them on, pretty sure the Cllr wouldn't do too well. Yet they are paid to research this stuff.

This is what puts me off independence.

I suppose it comes down to the differences between the RSPCA and the SPCA, I know that the English SCPA advertise in Scotland and that the SCPA complained that they took the money collected to England.

Have the SNP revealed how they are going to renationalise the Royal Mail yet?

Are they going to buy 10% off the UK Gov (who still own 30% I think)? At the rate it was sold for or the current cost? It will be at least half a billion pounds. Does it need shareholder approval?

There are just too many unanswered questions. I was talking to a friend who works in Criminal Injuries Compensation in Glasgow and they are worried about what would happen to their jobs should Scotland go independent. Would the Scot Gvmt continue paying out for Criminal injuries or could some staff loose their jobs.

Listening to Lord McConnell on the radio (who I almost know, I used to live over the road from him when I was a student in Stirling), it got me thinking that he will have more than most against independence, as he will be out of a job - no more Attendance Allowance for Jack! Would all Scottish Lords be evicted from the House of Lords? Would they have their Lordships removed?
