Coming Soon....

This article has been inspired by comments made by Chairman D'Souza that appear in the Giffnock Community Council minutes of September 2013.

Had these comments not been made we would have known nothing about this very revealing matter of great public concern.

However an FOI that was inspired by Chairman D'Souza's comments has resulted in over 324 pages of material being disclosed.

One of the many interesting aspects of this disclosure is that it would actually appear that it was Chairman D'Souza that set the ball in motion for an internal audit in August 2012 due to his direct correspondence with the Council Chief Executive, the Head of Democratic Services and he is being somewhat economical with the truth.

In one of the disclosed emails the Head of Democratic Services is explaining that chairman D'Souza does not want to appear guilty by association.

Cllr Vincent Waters then becomes heavily involved in discussions with ERC concerning the Community Council, after he has been fed information by an undisclosed Giffnock Community Council member.

There is also an email in the disclosure from chairman D'Souza regarding GCC to Lisa-Marie Robertson the Chair of the Thornliebank Tenants and Residents Association who then forwards it onto Cllr Vincent Waters who forwards it onto the council.

Ms Robertson and Cllr Waters apparently share the same postal address.

Yesterday Chairman D'Souza was pictured as a banana
