If I park my car in your driveway as you have a sign saying park for two hours, 10 pence.

I park and then leave without paying, cause the bucket had a lid on it, or it was raining. Have I not abused your good will and prevented you from getting 10 pence from another car driver?

Should you not get compo and also stop others abusing your good will?

Sorry Helen but you're not comparing apples with apples. My driveway is not a car park open to the public to enable them to shop nor does it have any signage offering a parking facility.
