Hi

Now that we have established there is no reason to withhold the Agendas I request that the December and February(when made available to Board Members) Agendas are emailed to me.

This should only take 2 mins of your time and not place extra work on the (already overworked) Business Support Unit.

Again, I don't think this is an unreasonable request.

Thanks

Hi

As said below -

Now that we have established there is no reason to withhold the Agendas under FOI, the only reason given is

' to publish the Agenda before the meeting would incur extra work and at this stage, we do not have the extra capacity within the Business Support Unit to take on extra work.'

Would appreciate that you take 2 mins of your time to email me the December and February Trust Board Meeting Agendas.

Thanks

It would appear the latest Trust Board meeting was due to be held on 4 June 2019.

Some 3 months after the February meeting we are still waiting for the February meeting minutes to be published.

Charity or Secret Society?

I can confirm the board meeting on 4 June 2019 did go ahead.

Regarding the agenda and minutes from the February meeting they will be published within the next few days, unfortunately at this time I cannot give you an exact time.

Kind regards

The minutes for the 26 February 2019 Leisure Trust Board meeting have just been published (on 13 June 2019)

++ 3 full months and 16 days after the 26 February meeting ++

Even ERC publish papers and reports along with meeting agendas and minutes.

Why does the Leisure Trust not publish these papers and reports discussed/presented at these Board meetings?

You can at least attend Council Meetings

However, Leisure Trust meetings are held in secret.

It would appear the Leisure Trust has again made losses -

After accounting for FRS 102 Retirement Benefits, the net liabilities of the company were £2.891m at 31 March 2019.

+++++++

The loss on ordinary activities before and after taxation

for the year to 31 March 2019 was £0.556m

(2017/18 £0.802m).

+++++++

BUT, has any reference to these losses been made in the minutes?

Have any Councillors on the Board asked any questions about these losses?

The answer is NO !!
