The meeting has been rescheduled to 25 June.

In the report to the Emergencies Committee on 14 May it was explained that Planning were preparing a report in relation to Application 2018/0302/TP - Erection of neighbourhood commercial centre including Class 1 (Retail), Class 3 (Food and Drink)/Sui Generis (Pub/Restaurant and drive throughs) with potential supporting uses (Class 2, Financial, Professional or Other Services, Class 10 Non-Residential Institutions, Class 11 Assembly and Leisure and Sui Generis) and associated access, parking and landscaping (Major). on the Site To North Of Crossmill Industrial Estate Glasgow Road Barrhead.

It was explained that the application report would not be ready until towards the end of June at the earliest although there was still some doubt if the report would be finalised.

In view of this it was proposed that if it was confirmed that the report would not be ready for the end of June that the meeting of the Planning Applications Committee on 10 June go ahead, but that if the report was going to be ready that the 10 June meeting be postponed.

As the Head of Environment subsequently confirmed that the report would be ready for the end of the month the 10 June meeting was postponed and will now take place on 25 June.

Papers for the meeting will be published online on Friday 19 June.
