Safety In The Park  (18th August – 5th September)

Located at Arthurlie House, this event allows the various partnership agencies to engage with the local schools. At this event the Community Fire-fighter gives a fire safety talk to the children and then a practical demonstration of the chip pan fire is given. This is a very visually dramatic demonstration of the dangers associated with chip pan fires and the effect of applying water to an oil based fire.
