Stephen Wright has served Strathclyde Fire and Rescue (SFR) in a number of different roles and posts.He started his service as a fire-fighter at Yorkhill Fire Station where he remained for approximately four years before moving on to a promoted post at Sprinburn Fire Station. During this period of time he also had short spells at Cowcaddens and Polmadie Fire Stations. Following on from that Stephen was seconded as an Instructor to the Scottish Fire Service College(SFSC) at Gullane.On return from the SFSC he worked at SFR Headquarters within the Human Resources Directorate assisting on the formulation of policy and procedures for the organisation. More recently he worked in North East Glasgow as a Fire Safety Enforcement Officer and earlier this year he took up post as Station Commander at Barrhead Community Fire Station. |
