I am glad that the residents of Kippen Drive have their no cold calling stickers respected, even by Vinnie and his colleagues. Why should other residents not be shown the same consideration when presumably they have exactly the same stickers?

Vinnie and people like him need to stop believing they can do what they please.

There is an interesting article on the front page of last week's Extra with the headline "Police urge East Ren residents to say no to cold callers and pick up the phone" The Chief Inspector is quoted as saying "If you feel uncomfortable at all about someone attending your door, please get in touch with us".

I congratulate the police on trying to deal effectively with this.

Many people including vulnerable or elderly residents do not like cold callers no matter what their purpose and political campaigners have no right to think that they are exempt.
