We have an elected member who runs a Facebook page, but does not permit free speach.

A few days ago he posted that he was now on the officer/member working group looking at climate change and how ER can reduce it.

He had proposed to this group that ERC could erect 20 mph signs on all main roads in E.R.

I posted on his thread my opinion that this would be detrimental to the climate.

That 20 mph would require all cars to use a lower gear, and this would increase fuel consumption not to mention an increase in fumes from the vehicle.

Result, my posts was removed and I was blocked from the page.
