Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout the Eastwood selection campaign - from those who nominated me, to those who gave their time, encouragement, and votes. I’m incredibly grateful.
While I’m obviously disappointed not to be selected, I want to offer my sincere congratulations to Kirsten Oswald.
I know she’ll work hard as the SNP candidate and continue to put the people of Eastwood at the heart of her campaign.
This party means a lot to me, and so does our shared goal of independence.
I’ll continue to play my part, as your local councillor and a committed activist, to help deliver a fairer, independent Scotland.
The campaign goes on - and I’ll be right there in the fight.

Delighted to have been selected as the SNP candidate for Eastwood for next years Scottish Parliament election.
Grateful to the local SNP members for their support and to fellow nominee Chris for his participation too.
Eastwood is my home, where I live with my family, and having represented our community before I know it is a huge privilege to be the SNP candidate here.
I firmly believe that the SNP is the party to deliver on the things which make a difference in our communities - todays Programme for Government demonstrates that very well.
I’ll campaign hard to win here, engaging with voters, listening to their views and concerns and talking to them about why they should vote for me and the SNP.
Our Eastwood community deserves a dedicated local representative, and I’ll always strive to deliver on that.
